A light, refreshing beer with notes of gooseberry, pear and lemongrass and a characteristic aroma of banana and cloves.
THE STORY
Even back in the day, beer was drunk like water. The distillation and the alcohol made it much more hygienic. It was bottled and tapped from barrels, also called "anchors." These were placed at work for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The alcohol content may have been somewhat lower, but it was a party every day, because water is only good once it's been through the brewery!
