It is 1647 and the heavily pregnant Trijntje, like her husband, tried to calm the bull. However, she was taken without compassion on the sharp horns. This resulted in an accidental cesarean section that gave birth to the child. Trijntje and her husband did not survive this, but the child did. Nine months later, the child still dies. The family was buried in the church and therefore continued through life as Bullekerk.
